Got a phone call today asking about my interest in Cardozo (was hoping it was an acceptance phone call )
Is this an indicator of any kind?
I told them that if i was accepted; Cardozo would be my number one choice among schools that have accepted me, although i am on some waitlists

HI! Congrats to everyone who was accepted to Cardozo As for those who are starting in May, what are you doing about housing? I'm trying to find an apt or sublet something close to the school (hopefully within walking distance). I would love school housing, but I hear it's hard to get into.
Soooo anyone else looking for a roommate? or maybe know of anyone who is? Please contact me!

I also got that phone call. And they said a decision wouldn't be made until 3-4 weeks from now, which is past all the deposit deadlines of other schools. I feel as if they are trying to yield protect in a very discreet way.

....Is Cardozo your #1 choice? If so, you could always deposit at a backup and then send your deposit to Cardozo when you get accepted- apparently, the school where you send your first deposit will just get a notification from LSAC that you're on the list of folks who have submitted more than one deposit.

Sucks that they're dragging their feet, though. It really doesn't let a person plan for their future....

Do any other schools do this? I don't understand - I applied to 7 other schools that probably had the same amount of applicants, if not more, and I've heard back from everywhere except 'Dozo. What's the deal here?

I was waitlisted 3/19 for Fall and offered May 3/26. I am emailing Financial Aid lots of questions now, including if Summer students can take advantage of the Stafford Loan no-interest until 6 months after graduation option that is ending July 1st.

Has anyone been able to negotiate aid for May that wasn't originally offered any? I know slim chance but just wondering!

Yes! I was happy to learn this. They only give you 8500 for the year, but hey, I'll take it.

I think they are pretty firm about their May = no merit aid policy. Good luck though, maybe it will work for you. I know that this is a sentiment that is looked poorly upon by TLS...

I'm still waiting. I think it's pretty odd that they are waiting this long especially since classes start in 6 weeks. Although you would think that they would have rejected us by now right?

If i had a guess we aren't good enough to make the "first cut" but once they see how many withdraw or how many part time students get into full time, they will admit us. That's what I'm hoping at least!
