Hah, I told you.... Good luck!UMiamiCane wrote:No...how silly of me to think that it could travel a mile in two daysIts Always Sunny wrote:Has anyone received a letter yet from the recent status change?Hoping for tomorrow!
Haha yeah, I live right behind Mother's and I still don't have mine. I don't think "letter in transit" was a very accurate description...dolfan0516 wrote:Hah, I told you.... Yeah I'm calling bullshit on that one. I have to give it to FSU, getting a phone call is great.gatorlaw wrote:Haha yeah, I live right behind Mother's and I still don't have mine. I feel the same way, 163/3.41. I would be shocked if UF flat out rejected either of us, but I am prepared to ride out the waitlist if need be. So far it seems all Decisions have been made on a Monday so here to hoping the streak continues.jc326 wrote:I've been FR/NDR for months now. Going crazy. Heard back and gotten into all of the other schools i've applied to, but UF is my top choice. 165/3.21
Anyone with similar numbers to me gotten a decision yet? I'm concerned my GPA is gonna ruin my chances.
Yeah, we are pretty much in the same boat. Reading last years forum scares me because people were waiting for a decision until april...dunno if I could handle that.MichNole19 wrote:I feel the same way, 163/3.41. Couldn't hurt, but I don't think it would help much either. Can't see why a GPA addendum would help anyone, considering it doesn't change your numbers. As we've seen throughout the cycle, UF seems to care pretty much exclusively about the numbers.jc326 wrote:I was considering sending in an addendum for my GPA to help speed up the process. Do you think it will make a difference sending something like that this late in the game?

LOL nice edit. I agreed with you the first time.Dream Machine wrote:What does an addendum for a low GPA even consist of? Just wondering.

Congratulations! I'm happy to hear they were actually sent out! You're in Gainesville IIRC? Wonder how long it will take to arrive in Baton Rouge...UMiamiCane wrote:Woohoo! Got my acceptance packet in the mail today

Yes.... it most likely would be beneficial. An attorney I work for went and visited the school he attended (U of Oregon) while he was still in review, and an acceptance letter beat him back home. Assuming you impress them, having a face-to-face cannot hurt.phatmiami wrote:Would it be benficial to go to Gainesville for a visit and speak with an admissions councelor?
I havent heard anything from them yet. I am under initial review as of 1/25
