Submitted 12/5, went complete 12/7, and then complete again 12/13. One of my letters of rec is from an alum who sent it directly to them, so I think that may have caused my updated complete.

The dates are 1/27, 2/24, and 3/30. It's on the right side of the homepage of the ASW. I'll probably go to the first one, just because I go to UG here and it'll be nice to have one right away.

I heard from an involved alum that WUSTL is looking to decrease acceptances this year versus lowering medians to maintain class size. That said, since we won't know until August and she could have been totally wrong, you can take it with a grain of salt...

You're not wrong. This year's 1L class is about 30 students smaller than the 2L's class was, and I was told they planning on continuing to cut class sizes the next several years.

I'm concerned a lot of schools will choose this route, potentially making admissions standards even higher.

I don't think they will necessarily go up, I just think because it is such a numbers game nobody wants to see their medians go down. The savvy schools see the drop in apps coming and know they must lower their standards, lower their class sizes, or raise their scholarships if they want to even maintain their medians.

The only thing I think may go up is GPA requirements, because there are a lot of top schools all competing for less 170+LSATs than years past, so they will have to counter that with a whole lot of great GPAs. Doesn’t seem to be too big of a problem for WUSTL seeing as they have always been LSAT focused over GPA focused anyways, I think the magic 168 will apply this year as it has in recent years past (or so I keep telling myself every day an acceptance doesn’t arrive in my email).

Even if a few schools like WUSTL or GW choose to cut their class size instead of dropping medians, that could have trickle-down effects wherein the schools ranked lower than WUSTL/GW will now get the ppl that would have enrolled at the schools above, and so on and so forth, with the potential of actually not seeing very few, if any, median decreases at the top30 schools.

I wouldn't be too worried- I got in last week with your GPA and a 168.
