To those accepted:

When are the ASW dates? I'd like to book my flight to check out DU soon, so I might as well book it on a CU ASW weekend just in case...

March 4 and April 1...sounds like it's a one day all day thing based on pufer's report earlier in the thread...

Dang I'm traveling down to a conference south of Denver on March 4 for work

looks like I'll hopefully be making an appearance at the April 1 day (though that's the same day as UIUC's...ugh)!

E: I can see some crazy profs pulling weird stuff at an April Fool's Day ASW...

Hahaha. We thought of that at the same time.

And I think I'll actually go to the April Fools' ASW too...!

Haha exactly what I was thinking

only 2 hours until I get to leave work and check my mail to probably be disappointed yet again...

Yesterday we managed to have ZERO items of mail arrive. Who ever has ZERO pieces of mail when they go to check their mailbox? And yes, the mail had already come (we live in a condo).

Same here! 30 min + 45 minute commute for me.... Thank you flexible schedules for my 6:30-3:00 work day today.

Before everyone starts getting their decisions in the mail and abandons this forum, I have a couple questions (in case I get accepted). To those of you who are residents of the area...

I know this is derailing the topic, but it doesn't appear people really mind.

1. What is the best web source to search for apartments. I know Craigslist is popular, but maybe Boulder residents use the newspaper's website or another site.

2. Is there an area of town that is known to be less expensive than the rest.

I'm getting layed off from work (this was expected) and I figure that if I get an acceptance I might as well move out there this spring.
