I've gotten the e-mail, but am still UR (not decision finalized). So it looks like it may really just be random ("from time to time . . .") like they claim?

DF as of 12/08, and no e-mail. The Tuesday theory is looking pretty likely...

Gosh USC is really frustrating me. I'm STILL complete as of 11/1/10. I know I don't really have the #'s for USC but I at least thought I would be UR by now.

I don't think there is an under review. My app went from complete strait to decision final. What that decision is, I have no clue, but I'm hoping for the best.

Incorrect. I have been under review for 3 weeks. just waiting on that fat acceptance package... (yeh right)

I stopped checking 5x per day and only check 3x per week

Same here. Not really interested in USC that much anymore -- but since I've only heard back from 1 of the schools I've applied too -- i'm getting anxious for any news from any school at this point. Status checkers are killing me.

when i withdrew, someone reapplied back to me around 730pm, wasn't an automated message-they work late?

I received the email but I'm currently still sitting on "complete" since 11/29.

Maybe they lost our applications and are going to kindly ask us to resubmit? What a riot that would be.

Maybe they send the e-mail to people they know are in undergrad and are most likely going home for the holidays?? Weird theory, I know...

Anyway, I won't be back to my address on my applications until 1/18, should I change it, or would that just be confusing? haha

Here's hoping that this Tuesday theory is correct...and that it's only good news

I am a few years out of undergrad and received it, so I think that theory is out! I imagine it's just an admin verification thing, though I feel most people probably put thought into accurately reporting their addresses 1-3 months ago....

I definitely would not recommend changing your address for that period, though I could see how it would be tempting!
