Major downer.

I'm sad that there was no movement today, but I find guilty comfort in knowing that nobody else got an email today either

Good to know that those who submitted 1 day before me are now complete...come on now Columbia, any day now.....although I suppose it doesn't really matter since they apparently don't even look at the RD people until January.

Despite feeling bad about it I have to agree with you - I was relieved when I saw no one else heard anything back today either. Last year decisions were released December 1st and December 3rd so I'm banking on hearing something tomorrow!
Though the year before that there was a week between the first two decision waves

Looks like it, and I don't really have too much of a chance anyway so I should bug out and stalk some other threads.

Dude you have a chance. I was accepted yesterday and we are near numbers twins (I have a slightly lower GPA).

Don't be so hard on yourself. A 4.3 has a shot and you're non-traditional. If you put together a good application you have a chance at the very least!

Such a good day for acceptances... don't you think? I'm feeling like we're gonna get some.

Got a letter from Columbia yesterday...in a formal small envelope and stamped "first class mail". It took me 20 minutes to have the courage to open it. Turns out to be from some student club telling me to apply (which I already did 1.5 months ago).
Almost suffered heartbreak for nothing.

Haha, I got one last week. My mom called me and was like, Columbia letter! I had her read it to me and it was the Asian
American Law Group encouraging me to apply. Bastards.

Sent in my RD app last night. I probably don't have much of a chance but it's worth a shot. Good luck to everyone!

Did they say anything about ED (I'm assuming you ED'd)? As in, you'd still be considered for it once you got them in?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
