Not really. Cornell needs to be insulted. We should turn this into a "fuck cornell" fest.

LOL but no... I still want to go and I cant have "Cornell's Big Brother" finding me out.
With that said, Cornell you are wonderful. Take all the time you need to accept me.
But perhaps we can get this s**t done by June1, thanks...

It's beyond ridiculous really, every school has at least made some form of contact, what is up with Cornell. Every school got an increase in applicants. Why are THEY taking this long.

I guess I shouldn't complain then. I am on reserve. I just want some spots to open and an acceptance before the 2nd deposit is due for other schools!

My application status still reads: "Applied 02/01."
Any guesstimates of when I might move to complete?

Re: Cornell waiting room
I didn't go complete until 3/22 but I guess I'll wait it out if it means an acceptance!
Wishful thinking I guess bc I probably have no chance
Cornell, I love you! If you're going to take your time make it worth the wait!!!

I hadn't checked my status in forever since I had basically given up, but I just checked tonight and I have decision made on 4/6. With other deposit deadlines creeping up, do you think I could call them and find out my decision on Monday so at least I know if I have a decision to make at all?

Re: Cornell waiting room
Is there a consensus that DR with no email means no acceptance? I haven't been following this thread perhaps as closely as I should have been.

Re: Cornell waiting room
I know that they gave out decisions over the phone no problem early in the cycle. You should try.ndirish2010 wrote:I hadn't checked my status in forever since I had basically given up, but I just checked tonight and I have decision made on 4/6. Also suddenly DR as of 4/7. Are we all splitters? I was assuming I'd get a WL since I seem to be good at getting those, but it looks like that was the 4/6 group...

Re: Cornell waiting room
i'm 3.5/171, the other person is 3.3/173. I just went through the whole thread up to page 190. It seems like, at first, not getting the AS link + email didn't necessarily mean that you weren't in. Around page 190 of the thread all the admitted people started reporting getting the links and an e-mail. Not sure what to think but I'm not getting my hopes up.Holly Golightly wrote:Also suddenly DR as of 4/7. Are we all splitters? Email for acceptances? Grr... I'll prob be WL too since I am apparently a WL magnet. Probably wouldn't pick Ithaca over DC for three years at this point anyway.

Re: Cornell waiting room
Hmm people who were accepted didn't say anything about an email just that they saw an admitted students link in their status checker.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
