Maybe if lots of people withdraw today and tomorrow, admissions will freak out and admit the rest of us on Friday.jdanz wrote:Withdrew. Hopefully a spot opens for one of you !

I emailed them asking why I have not received a Decision Letter, when it is already 4/26, and it says 4/24 DLS. They responded saying they would email me before the 30th...Now I am thinking they are just waiting to WL everyone in one batch.poptart123 wrote:was happy to finally go DLS yesterday but who knew that it would mean MORE WAITING WTHECK NYU WTHECK IS YOUR HECKING PROBLEM

have to agree. though for me personally I can't rule out a ding, what with my date still not changing.melmelcoolj wrote: I emailed them asking why I have not received a Decision Letter, when it is already 4/26, and it says 4/24 DLS. can't wrap my head around them waiting so long to do the inevitable, and poorly, I might add.

Maybe they just have not gotten to you yet. They are probably waitlisting all the people that are splitters and reverse splitters, for they are definitely getting WL-ed, and might be summoned from the WL to fill the class whichever way the deposits go.SybillAnnDorsett wrote:have to agree. though for me personally I can't rule out a ding, what with my date still not changing.melmelcoolj wrote: I emailed them asking why I have not received a Decision Letter, when it is already 4/26, and it says 4/24 DLS. For the rest, they are still reviewing, since they are not sure if they should accept or ding the non-splitters. This seems to be the most reasonable explanation of what is happening, since they did not respond to my email with an acceptance letter but with a promise that I will hear before the 30th.

I'm a pretty significant reverse splitter and haven't had a date change since 4/10 hahamelmelcoolj wrote:Maybe they just have not gotten to you yet. Yeah, I think that if all they had left was waitlist and reject the process might be a little faster cause I assume those would be easier to hand out. So they probably do have a few more they plan to admit before the 30th.melmelcoolj wrote:Maybe they just have not gotten to you yet. And not to hate on those with DLS and radio silence, but maybe it's good if you haven't gotten a DLS yet?? (This is a very biased theory btw)

Same stat range. Originally I had thought of it as not super reach - MyLSN gave me a yellow. Now it seems certain to be a ding, so I just wish they would get on with it.wildquest8200 wrote:

Most of the people i know who use this term are referring to three/four schools - University of North Carolina. I hear it said about 90% of the time with UNC though
