Understandably so. It looks like Georgetown is pretty liberal with taking people off the WL, so I wouldn't give up just yet.law4vus wrote:No problem. I just wish that I didn't have it in my email to post it here.msridiculous447 wrote:Thanks lawvsus. Much appreciated.

I'm just guesing, but the class might be filling up. I only mention this to say that, if GULC is your top choice and you got an interview request, it's probably worth it to switch to ED. Of course, that's not to say you won't get in without ED, but I think it's getting more difficult.
Me. I've lost all hope at this point.apple1234 wrote:Anyone out there still complete 1/28?
Yeah I have a 4.0 but I'm right around their 25th LSAT. I know a couple people that have gotten in with 167/4.0 so I'm hoping I can make up for a couple LSAT points with a good interview. The interviewer is a law prof at my UG's law school so if anything he'll understand my softs/extracurriculars better than would a random person. Fingers crossed. I really want GULC, but not enough to make it binding yet.Marionberry wrote:Sorry, really not trying to be a downer, it's just what I've noticed. I think if you nail the interview, and you're over at least one median (which it looks like you are, Flip) that your chances are still good. A lot of people don't know that they will let you switch to binding ED even after you've already submitted your app (and even after you've interviewed), so I thought I would share that with people if anyone is really hoping for GULC. I got interviewed, but I really don't think I would have gotten in had I not switched to ED.
My opinion really isn't worth much, but it seems like your alumni interviewer being a law professor would be a definite plus. Good luck on the interview! My alumnus asked that we meet at Denny's, hopefully yours doesn't require you to eat a grand slam.Flips88 wrote:Yeah I have a 4.0 but I'm right around their 25th LSAT. Ha that's weird and kinda unprofessional. I'm meeting in his office at the law school. I was told explicitly not to wear a suit. I guess shirt and tie then?Marionberry wrote:

I might go with slacks and a shirt, top button unbuttoned no tie. Of course, the tie is not going to reflect poorly on you and it never hurts to err on the side of caution.Flips88 wrote:Ha that's weird and kinda unprofessional. Thanks! Bloom county and Calvin and Hobbes were staples of my childhood, though in the case of BC I don't think I really got most of the jokes. The little padfolio is pretty sweet, and the booklet about GULC and DC is actually has some decent info in it. Of course, the paper was unglued from the cardboard backing when I opened mine...Bildungsroman wrote:Love the new tar, marion.
Also, just got my cool little padfolio in the mail.
