It's gotten ridiculous really. Hire an extra person to help with admissions you jerk offs.

My status changed today 4/8/10 to "decision" as of 4/6/10. Seeing as how everything I have read has indicated that upon an acceptance decision an email is sent to the admitted student immediately and the same is done for waitlisted students, is it safe to assume that Cornell has rejected my application for admission?

No. The waitlist (or "reserve list" as they call it) is also sent by regular mail.

Still complete here also 2-22. Here's a tip for Cornell, if apps are up by 52% hire some help...unemployment is up 52%.

I don't know if you want unemployeed people reviewing your app. They have a good excuse taking longer to review them, but 2 months to complete is way too long.

You have to keep calling. I called 6 times before I got a person.

It's possible they're on lunch. But I got the automated message at 10am and at 11am. It doesn't seem to be correlated with lunch time.

I am 3 weeks behind you, I don't know how they could do away with all of us before June at the current pace.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
