So did some people's hold letters say they would have a decision by April 15? Mine just said that they would reconsider me in April. Has there been any movement or than the rejection/WL letters?

Mine said they'll make the decision no later than Apr. 27.

Nope. They said they would be mailing the official acceptance letter today. I think for this late in the cycle they've succumbed to admitting via PDF.

Ahhh, this is the first anecdote of its kind I have seen. The fact that it's possible to go hold-->IN with borderline numbers is making this even harder to wait.

Another thing... has anyone gone hold-->OUT? I've heard it's mostly going to be reserves for all of us.

Either you mean you haven't heard a peep since being deferred to RD, or you should have been on the phone a loooooong time ago.

I'm a regular applicant. Applied in January and I'm still UR. Columbia told me I should hear by the end of April. I haven't been held or asked for a LOCI yet. Not sure if there is still hope or they are just waiting to reject me. Does Columbia reject right away or hold out?

Does that mean they deferred you to RD and you haven't heard anything since? Otherwise, I thought it was incumbent upon them to get you a decision by a certain point last year, given the binding ED contract.

As a hold I will hear back by the 21st (less than 2 weeks woo). What is this talk of a 27th deadline? Are people in the 27th pile stronger applicants than us in the 21st?
