Sorry for the dings! H's loss.
I guess all waitlist has been given out with only rej/ad left. After seeing so many applicants with goods numbers getting rejected, I really feel uncertain about my destiny.

I should be thankful in a way for still being alive in this process but I can't say I'm not really disappointed to still be waiting. Feb JS1. Here's hoping they work late tonight...

Does this wait list seems unusually big for this early in the cycle? If they are still behind JS2, might they just start interviewing from the WL?

The only possible explanation is that JS felt threatened by your refusal to join the cat-vatar trend!xylocarp wrote:Dinged. Happy to finally have a decision, to be honest!

Re: Harvard c/o 2018 Applicants (2014-2015 Cycle)
I'm guessing that there's at least one more JS2 wave to come based on the much lower number of JS2s relative to last year. A JS2 wave may come over the weekend (like the beginning of the last big wave) or mid-next week. I'm expecting at least another waitlist/rejection wave at the end.hermione1000 wrote:what waves do we predict next?Veronica2015 wrote:Sorry for the dings! H's loss.

Last JS2 wave started on a Sunday, but I think that was because it was the first admitted students weekend. Still, maybe?hermione1000 wrote: do they announce over weekends like yls?
Really sorry about all the bad news in this thread, guys. Some truly stupefying dings and WLs lately. Harvard's loss!

Last cycle the Facebook group had 100 more members in the beginning of April right after the waitlist was out.

I live to fight another day... (Feb JS1) Sorry to the dings and congrats to the WL who wanted it. I haven't been WL'ed or dinged yet, but just did ASD at NYU and loved it. I'm really excited about at least one of my options
I hope some of y'all are too, even if HLS was a letdown.
