Almost the same dates as me... hmph. ugh, wish there were someone at my parents' house (perm. mailing address as I'm abroad) so badly right now!chasgoose wrote:VCE in Los Angeles today. Postmark date 1/28

Even though I have already determined a 1/28 batch is unlikely to include me, I saw that cat and began to get excited.

I wonder if there are even "waves" at all--or if they just send out, like, x number of envelopes on every day??? We've basically seen envelopes postmarked on every business day since 1/24.

Re: Columbia 2011!
Thanks guys. I included the info after getting frustrated at others for not doing the same thing...I can understand not wanting to include stats, but submit/complete dates aren't going to give anything away.
I actually came this close to stopping by CLS on 1/28 as I was there visiting my sister who is an undergrad at Columbia College but then my sister decided she needed me to help her pick up some groceries instead.
Guess this takes some of the pressure off the fact that I'm still processing at NYU...

Re: Columbia 2011!
hey do CLS admitted students have login info. analogous to NYU (i.e. LSDAS identification number and DOB for password) or do they assign some random username and password.
I'm just asking, because I've been able to logon to the NYU website even without the benefit of an official acceptance in the mail. Perhaps it would work for CLS?

My numbers are auto-admit as well (although you obviously have WAY better acceptances than me).dbrddr wrote:no VCE today. Dunno if I'm the best hope proxy, but I'll keep posting every day or two if there's interest

Just got an email from Columbia placing me in their "special" hold category. I guess this is not so bad?

Held today.
Complete 1/14. I'm guessing this isn't a waitlist?
Frankly quite surprised given my subpar LSAT.
Came in 1:16 PST.

AAAAAAAAAAH! *lights hair on fire*
This isn't so bad- it means that you can still receive and acceptance, waitlist, or denial in April.
ah I haven't even been held yet.... fast track to the WL or a ding? *hyperventilates*
edit: what time did your hold emails come in?

"Reserve" is a waitlist, "Hold" appears to be a little better than that.aesis wrote:Held today.

Re: Columbia 2011!
Just got an email saying I'm being "held." I assume that this = waitlisted which from the looks of LSN is a black hole to rejection.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
