NYU c/o 2020 Applicants (2016-2017) Forum

New to post but have been following for awhile. Got a new UR yesterday (got my hopes up a little) but now nothing! I'm a splitter (low gpa, better LSAT) and I applied to NYU ED (my first UR was in Dec where they rolled me into regular admissions)...wondering what the stats are of the people who got URs and DLSs yesterday/notified today?? I'm very convinced I did not get in at this point but since NYU isn't talking/I'm freaking out I'm just going to analyze the hell out of the situation. Thanks!

Hey hang in there. I'm still inclined to feel that a Monday UR status change is still a good sign

I went UR2 on a Monday in March. It was truly cruel. Almost everyone else got in. Still no word

Yeah, at least I'm happy with where I'm at. I turned down a different t6 school for where I'm going so I doubt NYU would have swayed me

5:20 on a DLS day with no notification and only one phone call acceptance. It's just crazy to me. They give no shits about looking like a mess.

I still haven't gotten my aid award yet. Have been very proactive (including calling), and the website keeps giving me trouble so I can't even go into the application to check if they've updated it today. Really not happy right now.

Effin' FAAPS. I almost got my scholly revoked because I couldn't log in to "accept" my award on the damn thing by the deadline (even though I had already sent in my intent to enroll).

"This gold bullion is sooo heavy." Sorry. That was uncalled for. It's just that we're sort of reserving this thread specifically for bitching about our apparent soft rejections and/or wild speculation in which we try to find a pattern in UR changes that most definitely do not have a pattern.
