Maybe ask this where we hang out. I filled out the form right away and my current status is still "Wait list Offered."

Sorry to hear, but better than a straight up no, for sure. I will miss you and your lack of calm. And your insane images. Best of luck!
Someone needs to keep the JS focused cult/panic caucus alive. Be the change you wish to see in the thread.

Sweating

I'm almost definitely not going to H even if I got in, but I would still like a decision some time
I'm agitated, too. I'd gotten very comfortable not-knowing and now that it's imminent I don't know what to think. This could reasonably go in any direction at all. Usually after dodging major days of not-the-best news I feel pretty relieved, but NOT THIS TIME.

I got the note that I was on the WL today, and I'm absolutely thrilled. I was always a long shot, but I think my military/work experience helped get me this far. I was below the 25th percentile for the LSAT and GPA, but I still hope that something pans out at Harvard. I haven't had a JS1... do those start for folks on the WL now, or might that be a sign that we're getting towards the top of the list?

I think JS1s are typically offered to those on waitlist beginning first week of May. Not sure if JS1 waitlisters get priority for admission before non-JS1 waitlisters.

That is a good sign she said that i believe. Not sure what your stats are, but If i were an Adcom I will remember the person that really wanted to get in and reapplied when others start to flake later during the cycle. Just a few more weeks to go! :)

Mind sharing why you wont be going? And if so, why being here? (Just curious)

Still no word. Complete October, no JS1. I mean I'm not like freaking out, since Harvard is lolololongshot and I've got sweet options, but like, this is the first time I've been on TLS at night. Harvard do you think I'm prettyyyyyy?!?!?

Any theories on how they do their WL waves--if they're in any kind of order? Like, are the people in the first WL wave at the top?

ETA: never mind, no rank.

Once again sorry/congrats to those who were WL'd these past few days!

Here is some information I hope you find useful, gathered from last-years thread (will also post in the WL thread). This gives some insight into the differences of WL before or after a JS1.

In 2013-14, there were 101 WL reported on TLS. Of these, 63 had not received JS1s prior to the WL, whereas 38 had already received JS1s.

Complete -> WL
Of the 63 reported, 22 received JS1s and 12 of those then received JS2s. Only 3 reported outright rejections. So, 35% received JS1s, and in total, 19% received JS2s. However of those that received JS1s, 55% eventually received JS2s.

Complete -> JS1 -> WL
Of the 38 reported WL who already had JS1s, 10 received JS2s. Only 3 reported outright rejections. For this group, 26% received acceptances.

Most individuals who ended up getting accepted off the WL found out in mid-to-late May, however acceptances did trickle out throughout the summer until August.

WL email 10:15 EST. I'm soooooooooo happy. Such a pleasant surprise. LSAT<25th and GPA slightly below median. JS1 mid-Feb. I was bracing for a ding :D and I'm very happy with my other options.

Good luck to everyone still waiting.

Seems like a small wave after yesterday's big one. Maybe that means ding/JS2 wave this afternoon. Of course I said this yesterday and was 100% wrong and nobody really knows what's going on. But hey, such is TLS.

WL this morning. LSAT<25, GPA>75 and no JS1. Was definitely expecting a rejection after yesterday, so this was a pleasant surprise to wake up to.

yeah I feel like it's too early to say whether it's a small wave or not. yesterday's big one was like three or four different e-mail times throughout the day - we could see the same thing today (or see js2/dings like you said)
