Just got done with my KB1. She called a little over halfway into the time window. Very nice and personable :) She only asked two questions, What are you up to/what's taking up your time, and Tell me about your path to the law. I asked two questions, one she said she didn't have the answer to but she told me what she could. Strangely, I feel good about it :D

Good luck to all the other KB1s and those still waiting on their's!
Did she say anything about when you might hear back?

Nope, and I didn't ask...felt presumptuous :?

I figure they'll get back to us asap. Their second ASW is this weekend, perhaps they want to get decisions out to give people the option of coming. :)

This waiting game is ruining my psyche. I heard Zittrain is doing a iLaw class for the admits this weekend! So bummed.

I interviewed last Friday, if they were to let me in tomorrow I'd be there this weekend in a heartbeat! :)

So the KB1 set of last week concluded on Friday.
Probably the last set until after the waitlist.

But if we do get in, then we'll get to be a part of all the rest of the fun :) Optimism! Optimism!

that's the spirit!!! everyone, it is way too early to be this down in the dumps. harvard traditionally pulls lots of people from the waitlist. :) (which is soo worth the cost/inconvenience in the long run)

Absolutely! And the Harvard WL is certainly not a terrible place to be, I'm sure everyone on it has wonderful options. That said, the last reported KB2s were last Wednesday so I hope there will be more today or tomorrow. Good luck everyone!

I'm sure you did fine! Just curious, did you send in a LOCI that explained "Why Harvard?" I'm interested in why she's narrowed it to two questions...speed or because she read LOCIs and knows your answer to Why Harvard...

+1 for speed. I didn't have anything about Why Harvard in my LOCI. Also, I basically just asked her Why Harvard and then added my own reasons--which were complementary--because it was a point I wanted to make.

I definitely felt like I was babbling a lot, haha. But it's hard not to, I mean this might be the most important phone call we've ever had in our lives! Karen seemed pretty tight on time, though.

Had my KB1 a couple hours ago. It took 4:52 according to my phone timer... She asked what I was up to, some questions about my work (work is law-related), what kind of law I was interested in, and that was it after I asked her about Harvard. Doesn't look like I had a babbling problem.
