They told me the same thing, Complete since 1/14. I think it was a total B.S answer (but that doesn't stop me from checking my status a billion times a day)lil_bit810 wrote:Submitted 12/8 Complete since 2/1!!! This is crazy. Called the Admissions Office and they said I should have a decision, "Any day now." I wish I wouldn't have called. Now I check my status at least 50 times a day.

Withdrawing after getting my scholarship notice today. No way I'd take $15,000 at Cornell over $30,000 at Michigan. Good luck to everyone still waiting to hear a decision!

I submitted in late november, been complete since 1/22, and they asked me for updated grades last week. Do you guys think that asking for updated grades is a good sign?

My god do i hope so. Im only waiting on Cornell and Chicago now. I was getting impatient with Cornell, but knowing that they want a little more info really helps the time seem worth it.GermX wrote:Yeah of course.
If anyone on this board isnt going to Cornell, please withdraw as soon as you can. I dont mean to be pushy, i just want there to be as many open seats as possible when my file comes up for consideration.

^ Man if they ask you for your grades, that means they're interested in you but need a little bit more to make a decision. The only way you're fucked is if you royally messed up on the grades you're about to send them.

I somehow pulled off an awesome semester last semester. Increased my gpa just slightly and i made the deans list. It might have been my best semester in college. Thank goodness i held off senioritis.GermX wrote:^ Man if they ask you for your grades, that means they're interested in you but need a little bit more to make a decision. Then you should smile because unless they are just wasting your time for fun, there is no way they are going to request your grades if they didn't think you were a serious contender for a seat. Send them in ASAP.

Re: Cornell waiting room
They were requested last wednesday via email and they finally got to Ithaca on tuesday. I called and confirmed that my file was updated. I sometimes dislike the fact that i go to a massive school where it takes 2 days to get a transcript printed and mailed.GermX wrote:Then you should smile because unless they are just wasting your time for fun, there is no way they are going to request your grades if they didn't think you were a serious contender for a seat. BTW, anyone out there who is checking their status checker compulsively, do you ever see changes in them? Mine still says complete as of 1/22 but clearly they have reviewed my application atleast once, without updating the status checker.

Mine was "Complete 2/1" and then changed to "Complete 3/12" so they did some updating. I hope I get in and see you there=D

I called them today too. They said the same, "Any day now" thing that others here have posted about. I chatted with the lady for a while though, and, at the end of the conversation, she actually told me to call them every day until I get an answer. I told them that I don't want to be annoying, and she said that that is what they are there for. I am def not going to do that, but I thought that was SUPER nice of her to say!

Why does everyone keep calling Cοrnell Law Ѕchool, Princeton Law Ѕchool?
I don't think Princeton even has a law program that I've heard of.

Re: Princeton Law waiting room
Just called the Admissions Office. They told me a decision had been made and asked me if I wanted to know over the phone. Of course I did, and it's a "Reserve." So is this the same as a waitlist? Also, my status still says "Complete" 2/1 and the woman told me that the decision had been made on March 30th. So, they are not updating statuses right away.

Gave in and called today. As everyone else has said, their admissions office is really nice. They said I'm complete but should be hearing something soon, and can call to get my decision when the status checker changes.

They told me that they would give the decision over the phone b/c the status checked is 3 to 5 days behind. If you are waiting b/c of seat deposit deadlines, they say to call a lot as the date approaches.Holly Golightly wrote:Gave in and called today. Re: Princeton Law waiting room
When I called Cornell earlier today, I got a long message saying that they got a large number of applications and are thus backed up, blah, blah, blah, and was then transferred to voicemail. Odd.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
