I'd assume the school would help you out. They don't want someone not coming for the sake of not having a room.

Or....

I think the consensus is that this is just the beginning and more wait lists will continue to flow out to people with (or without?) js1s till wednesday. Dings and 1 or 2 Js2 waves should also appear

So only one or two JS2 waves among a multitude of WL and ding waves? Dang, my heart is in for a workout.

Also WL just now

Beyond disappointed. WL last year as well and this time around, during my JS1, JS mentioned multiple times how my application was far stronger than last year. Guess I've got some more waiting to look forward to.

There is a lot of info on
http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... 2&t=225363 (which has been linked repeatedly in this thread). About 350 were reported on LSN, so you can probably at least double that.

I am sorry/happy for you morning star. Seems like at least 3 of us got the S rejection -> Harvard WL in under 24 hours. I still think you have a very good chance at Y (since they are less concerned with date of application), and H has ~57% chance of getting off waitlist for people with our numbers (and yours are even better than mine)

Just got my waitlist email @ noon. JS1 in mid January. Even my JS1 was a pleasant surprise, so I'm not holding my breath. Cheers and good luck to everyone still waiting! To my fellow JS1->WLers, I'm sure you already have some really great options and things will work out. Make sure to enjoy your last summer before law school, I know I will!

waitlisted today. JS1 in late January. LSAT ~25th, GPA slightly above 50th.
Wow, it's been an incredible ride. I remember stressing out hardcore during the JS2 waves, but now I have some more waiting. Hoping for the best now. I'd accept Harvard's offer in a second.

You kind of made my day with this.

Not super excited about a cross-country relocation in the span of 2 weeks (they say they admit off the waitlist until "Late August", but who knows). I'm sorry you're in the same boat I am, but at least we're not in the boat alone.

Oh, I reserved my WL spot approximately...18 seconds after the email came through. Took a few seconds to remember my LSAC number or it would've been < 10. I'm on this train till the end of the line.

I'm not sure whether I should be relieved that I haven't been wait listed or disappointed...
I guess I'll probably know for sure in about a week.

WL. Submitted 12/18. Complete 1/8. JS1 Invite 1/26. Email came at 12:45 PM PST (3:45 EST).
17x LSAT and 3.5x GPA, so this was realistically the best outcome I could have hoped for. I'm honored but also sad. Going to check out and hang in the new WL thread while I ride it out.
It's been fun all. I hope you all get that phone call. I know you will.

Sorry to hear, but better than a straight up no, for sure. I will miss you and your lack of calm. And your insane images. Best of luck!

For those who were WL and replied in the link that you are accepting your spot has your status checker changed from WL offered to WL position accepted yet?

I really hope they don't send out dings on a Friday. I feel like schools shouldn't do that to the weekend.

Sweating
I'm almost definitely not going to H even if I got in, but I would still like a decision some time
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
