Acceptances are snail mail, dings and WL by e-mail a few days later

For those of you who were accepted, did anything show up in the "Fees" window of your status checker prior to you getting your letter? I know most schools that use the LSAC status checker will show that you owe your deposit in that box. Did Georgetown?

In other words, does the lack of any deposit fee mean that I'm on my way to a WL/Ding?

I like that TLS refers to them as 'dings.' It's so mild. Doesn't suggest anything about the world ending.

Went dr 1/15, still haven't gotten an email or a letter...although I did get an email today about an open house at Georgetown, and to sign up via the admitted students website which I cannot get into...what's going on here am I accepted or what?

I got the same email- I think that means we are in but just haven't received our snail mail letters... at least thats what I hope. A premature congrats to you!

For early decision applicants, do you see "early decision" mentioned in yoru status checker at all? Mine does not have it, and am wondering whether that's abnormal. Also, do early decision applicants have a latest date to receive decisions? Thanks!!

I got the same email- I think that means we are in but just haven't received our snail mail letters... at least thats what I hope. A premature congrats to you!

So far, it looks like all DR 1/15 were acceptances (including myself). I was thrown for a loop, however, because the letter was mailed to my permanent address rather than current. Check your status checker, and the address listed is where the letter was sent. Hope that helps.

You're totally in. Funny, I still can't access my ASW. Any other DR 1/15 admits having trouble with it?

DR 1/15 were acceptences

and DR 1/21 (that's me) looks like it will be rejections....

How did you get your log in info for the asw? I got the same email, no snail mail yet though and the email didn't contain any log in info. Is it the same as status checker?

You have to click no password, type in your last name and the email address you put on your application, and if you're in the system it will send you a usrename and password. Seems to work intermittently for people though so if no go I wouldn't worry too much.

The mail came already, and there was nothing from GULC. I'm very close, so I imagine if they're mailing the decision, then they haven't mailed it yet...or they mailed it today. Come onnnnn acceptance! (hopeful)

While 1/15 was all acceptances, 1/14 was a mixed batch. There were mostly waitlists (preferred and reg), but TLS and LSN people both reported rejections and acceptances for DR 1/14 decisions. So, there is hope for a mixed batch.

Edit: Also, GULC has been known to send out 2 acceptance batches, one right after the other. Bottom line - we don't know. Thus, let's go with optimism.

DR 1/21 here too. It looks like there was one acceptance posted from this batch. I'm feeling a rejection coming though... Hoping we'll know in a few days!
