analyzing the page source information for the status checker because I don't want to do my job and I'm ready to vomit with no status change, and I thought it looked familiar, but they are using Helvetica for the font.

HELVETICA! the basic bitch of ms word fonts, so basic I think Word has retired it.
(sorry, y'all I'm just finding more reasons to dislike these people)

Still 1/9 UR. I sent in my application in November, took the December LSAT, improved my score, sent in an LOCI, got into t6 schools, URM, etc. Nothing from NYU.

What bothers me is that I applied for the LATINX scholarship. they couldn't reject/WL us after reviewing our files for our scholarship applications?? Like??

Scholarship application doesn't get read until after the applicant has been admitted, AFAIK.

can tell you based on my sources (a 3L root and 1L Latinx) that if you've not heard as of March, you're not getting the named scholly in question. doesn't mean you're out of the running for other money though.

Damn... so if the deadline for that scholarship passed & people have been admitted it's basically confirmed you either won't qualify for that scholly right?

all the named scholarships have been handed out already, I'm 99% sure. interviews for them happened at the beginning of April, and you had to be admitted by March to be considered.

Yes, unfortunately. I believe the named schollies hold interviews and give offers around the end of March/beginning of April.

I still haven't gotten my aid award yet. Have been very proactive (including calling), and the website keeps giving me trouble so I can't even go into the application to check if they've updated it today. Really not happy right now.

UR2 11/7/16 here. I called Admissions to ask what's up because this is true insanity. The woman who answered said that they are "expediting decisions so everyone will have an answer by the end of the week." So everyone will have A/D/WL by Friday. Hang in there, y'all.
