Any thoughts from people as to why the WL emails seem to be dribbling out at different times? It would seem kinder/gentler to WL all at once.

Harvard doesn't strike me as a school that strives to be kind & gentle hahaEladriel wrote:Any thoughts from people as to why the WL emails seem to be dribbling out at different times? It would seem kinder/gentler to WL all at once.

Yikes, so once the WL wave is done today (assuming it will continue throughout the day), are the rest of us destined for JS2 or Ding this week? Think we'll get another WL wave after the inevitable 'red wedding' of rejections?

Welp, to me this basically confirms a ding. They should just send them out as well. End the suffering, JS.

Re: Harvard c/o 2018 Applicants (2014-2015 Cycle)
Waitlisted a few minutes ago, mid-Nov complete, below both medians, no JS1. So don't lose hope if you haven't heard today, the emails seem to be dribbling out!
(The rest of the summer now: http://gifrific.com/wp-content/uploads/ ... 0-Rock.gif)
Edit: credit where credit is due, this would clearly have been a ding were it not for the catvatar. All hail etc.

Re: Harvard c/o 2018 Applicants (2014-2015 Cycle)
I believe I heard talk of making a HLS Waitlist thread? I mean that waitlist data link is great but I feel like it's just the tip of the iceberg, I have so many questions. Do people who've already done a JS1 have preference over those without? How long is everyone planning to wait? Is this karmic payback for me scoffing and going, "that would never happen" when the guy in the HTGAWM pilot got in off the waitlist a day before class?

I'd assume the school would help you out. They don't want someone not coming for the sake of not having a room.Atmosphere wrote:I wonder how housing would work in that situation
