I'm still at 1/31, which was my second update as well. I switched to ED around 2/10 and haven't heard anything from them since...

A couple questions, how many tiers of waitlists do they have? Is the "special group" distinction meaningful? Is it bad form to include in my response to the waitlist email that Georgetown was my number 1 and that I have been admitted to NYU?

171/3.8 kind of discouraged about GULC..

There are three tiers of waitlist...regular, preferred and special preferred. How they ultimately use those lists is anyone's guess, although apparently LSN shows that special preferred had the best luck getting in, followed by preferred, followed by regular WL.

I'd definitely mention that Georgetown is your first choice, although I wouldn't include the NYU acceptance. I'm not sure what good including that would do and it might make them question if GULC is your first choice.

Bummer, as it's my first non-acceptance of the cycle. Guess I should start drafting a LOCI..

Two questions:

1. Has anyone who updated 2/28 (to the mysterious "completeD") been able to log on to the ASW?

2. So...if we were updated today for, let's say, the fifth time in the past month, and we haven't heard anything...what does that mean?
