I submitted a LOCI, updated resume and additional LOR's a couple of weeks ago, still UR 11/22.

Keep in mind if you submit additional LOR's through LSAC that NYU only gets LOR updates on the 1st and 15th of each month.

Did you get a response from NYU that they received your LOCI? Thanks

No, I didn't, kind of disconcerting. I did send my update to 2 email addresses though, one gave me an auto-response saying all communication should go to the other one. I assume they got it.

How long after the update did you get that confirmation? Just want to make sure I don't need to call and check tomorrow.

Did you have significant updates in your LOCI (I'm assuming so since you also had an updated resume)? I'm considering a LOCI but I don't really have updates about myself so it would be more of a "Why NYU," and I've read conflicting opinions about whether to do that before you receive a decision. Anyone else in this situation?

I sent it after hours one day and they emailed me back the next day confirming.

Nothing here. No one on LSN got in last year after being deferred, so I've kind of given up hope on NYU.

So . . . status just changed to "decision letter sent." 0_0

OH MY.

This might be a dumb question, but I was reading through the thread re: merit aid. I saw a lot of named scholarships that had a separate application process being discussed, but does NYU give out aid apart from those scholarships?

For some reason I really think that things may be different this year owing to the decline in applicants. Who knows.

Is complete "under review" or something after?

Wait do they send out apps for those? I thought they were just given out based on merit/need going off the Need Access form. And I think they come out sometime in March, so probably in the next couple weeks.

Gosh, I hope not. I assumed you just check the box on the needaccess form. I think I saw someone with the username client mention something about 2 weeks from last thursday or something, not sure if it was NYU though. All the schools are blending together for me... :?

Oh my bad, last year people started receiving their financial aid offers Tues March 9th, so [theoretically] it should be this week.

Still UR 1/24. This is getting tiring. Fish or cut bait, no?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
