For those WL today and yesterday, here is the link to the T14 WL numbers from last year, including % accepted. H seems a pretty good place to be WL, percentage wise. Congrats!

Also waitlisted. GPA above median, LSAT below 25%. Complete Oct. 15, no JS1, non-URM.
What are the rules on depositing at one school but riding the Harvard WL? Is that permissible?

totally permissible, i think, but i believe you're subject to losing your deposit if you go to HLS off the WL (worth it doee)FloridaCoastalorbust wrote:Also waitlisted. GPA above median, LSAT below 25%. Complete Oct. 15, no JS1.

You don't have to withdraw from schools you're still pending or waitlisted at when depositing or accepting a scholly that requires withdrawal from other schools

The question now is do they move on to (1) WL those with JS1s as well, (2) Dings, (3) JS2, or (4) some random combination of options 1-3.

Boalt doesn't have a deposit fee do they? I think it's just a verbal commitment or something, I'd feel really bad going "whoops nevermind"rseaney wrote:totally permissible, i think, but i believe you're subject to losing your deposit if you go to HLS off the WL (worth it doee)FloridaCoastalorbust wrote:Also waitlisted. Re: Harvard c/o 2018 Applicants (2014-2015 Cycle)
It is totally OK, and you should not feel bad about using your full range of options. It won't harm the school, since they have WL of their own.Atmosphere wrote:Boalt doesn't have a deposit fee do they? Re: Harvard c/o 2018 Applicants (2014-2015 Cycle)
Also WL this morning (about 2 hours ago), complete late October, GPA > 75, 173. JS1 in early February.
Not completely upset, but the fact this came ~15 hours after Stanford's rejection makes the news a little harder.

Sorry about the WL, auxilio. With those numbers, I'm sure you have other awesome options. Will you be riding the WL?

I will be riding the WL, but if I don't get in off essentially first wave in May I will likely have to withdraw. International makes the (limited) government loans/visa etc. more complicated.
