That would be outstanding. You know what would be even better? Decisions from Chicago and Penn, too! Let the record show that this is my first TLS prediction. C'mon universe, grant me some Beginner's Luck.paglababa wrote:I predict no movement today.
But I also predict JS2s for everyone on TLS tomorrow.

I can't imagine how long it took to spell all of that out, I commend your devotion.chneyo wrote:It's gonna be movement in all directions. Harvard and Penn will see a broad mix, mostly acceptances from Chicago, and Columbia will solely be good.Nonconsecutive wrote:Was this good or bad movement?chneyo wrote:Was talking to my Ouija board last night and we've made our predictions for the week: heavy movement from Harvard, UChicago, Columbia, and Penn. Others might see some slight movement (NYU, UVA), though nothing statistically significant (lookin' at you, Stanford). GET READY TO RUMBLE.

Chneyo has a custom TLS-approved Oujia board. Each school has it's own section with the answers to most common questions already printed on the boardNonconsecutive wrote:I can't imagine how long it took to spell all of that out, I commend your devotion.chneyo wrote:It's gonna be movement in all directions. Any sense from past years if students who were interviewed as late as last week will be in the upcoming wave, or is there usually a gap if a couple weeks?

Mort quoted barrel of monkeys, who seemed to think there may be, based on last year's.pokemonsters wrote:Any sense from past years if students who were interviewed as late as last week will be in the upcoming wave, or is there usually a gap if a couple weeks?

So I checked last year's thread (I'm sure this had been done already, but, well):
There was a big batch of held/rejection e-mails on Friday, January 11th.
Then there was a big batch of JS2s on Monday, January 14th. These JS2s included even really recent JS1s (like January 10th).

I've already had my JS1, and my status checker says complete. Does it not update between then and notification of ding/wl/accept?

Are we thinking there will be additional dings/WL's, or is it expected to be a JS2-only wave today (or whenever it does hit)?
