Good job on UIUC. If you want to stay in Chicago, that is a pretty tempting offer.Beatrice wrote:IL resident, in at UIUC with 25k scholarship.

Very tempting, indeed. I'm not going to let myself stress about decisions until I hear back from more schools, but UIUC definitely just got a lot higher on my list...Desert Fox wrote:Good job on UIUC. Re: Splitters Unite! - Official 2010 Splitter Thread
I'm not a big splitter but I'm not getting much love from schools- 3.2x and 166.
In: CU
WL: Minnesota (from EA)
Out: Cornell EA and Michigan (no surprises there!)
Still waiting for: BU, BC, UWash, Wisc, WUSTL, W&M, Vandy, Emory, Texas
Most schools I was complete by the beginning of Dec. so I'm getting antsy!
Update: In at BC, out at Texas over the weekend!

Unless you are looking for money at these schools fuck that. Apply to CCN, MVPNCG only. If you don't get it try again next year early in the cycle.macaulian wrote:3.04 engineering school math major, pretty sure I 177+ on lsat saturday (my gut says I missed only one question), and applying UCLA, Ohio State, UGA, UICU. So how do we poor, unfortunate splitters fare when it comes to getting off of wait lists? My 3.0/176 hasn't pulled through for me in the way I hoped it would (WL at UVA, UCLA, Vandy), and while I'm very happy with my WUSTL acceptance, I would like to get off of at least one of those waitlists.

It really depends on if schools need to secure their median LSAT come may or june.DoctorNick189 wrote:So how do we poor, unfortunate splitters fare when it comes to getting off of wait lists? Subtle anti-Duke trolling? I understand why Boalt was left out this time.Desert Fox wrote:Unless you are looking for money at these schools fuck that. Apply to CCN, MVPNCG only. The Dookies like GPAs too, although they might be willing to suck it up for a 177+beef wellington wrote:Subtle anti-Duke trolling? I sure feel like a splitter compared to all the 3.8+ people out there with LSAT scores similar to mine...Richie Tenenbaum wrote:ITT: WUSTL saves the day.
I know this is not usually considered a splitter GPA, but how are people with a 3.4-3.5 doing at CCNMVP so far this cycle? (if there are any of you out there).

N is showing some splitter love. Still waiting to hear back from the rest (but care most about C&C at this point).

They're only splitter friendly earlier. Also you need 173+ LSAT and a 3.1 minimum GPAtigrelis wrote:UVA is splitter-friendly?
I still got waitlisted by the splitter-friendly T14?
Bad news for the rest of my cycle. ='(

No there was a 3.0 (with rounding) lower limit even with ED.stratocophic wrote:ftfyD Brooks wrote:They're only splitter friendly earlier. Also you need [strike]173+ LSAT and a 3.1 minimum GPA[/strike] a 170 and an ED contract.tigrelis wrote:UVA is splitter-friendly?

Bigtime splitter, haven't come across this thread before...
173 / 2.9, out of school for 5 years with solid work experience, currently working on a Masters with a 3.8 GPA
applied in early January to accommodate new grades and LORs...
Harvard - i'm an optimist
Columbia - fee waiver, why not
G'town
BC
BU
NUSL
The pool is a little limited, I'm tied to the northeast.
The wait is KILLING me!!\
GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!

Wow, you are made for Northwestern. Sucks you're tied to the NE. I don't know what NUSL is, but you're best shot is going to be GULC off the waitlist. Don't they have an extended ED option like UVA? I'd try that if I were you.splat wrote:Bigtime splitter, haven't come across this thread before...

Re: Splitters Unite! - Official 2010 Splitter Thread
Yeah, I'm a New Englander through and through, I'm really hoping to be in Boston, BC would be amazing! NUSL is northeastern, and GULC does have an extended ED, but I'm not fully ready to commit to DC yet...though it would be tough to turn down...D Brooks wrote:
