wait...i'm confused...i knew the curve effected the class...i didnt realize that each section had a separate curve...so grade distrubution is curved by section and not just through the whole class?

Yeah, I don't think they read my letters or personal statement due to how quickly I received a decision.

Why doesnt Miami allow bargaining for scholarships?
Apparently I didnt qualify for one of their 15 fully schollys, so its either 23k a year or bust.

Yea, they give out 15 full, and they said that I wasnt one of them. I asked for more money, they said no.

Hey kbigs, I believe we have very similar numbers. You would think we could get more being that we are way above their 75% lsat and their median GPA. It kinda sucks.

Obviously, but getting full tuition from similarly ranked or better schools makes it difficult to choose miami.
Also, a lot of schools allow negotiation, Miami doesnt.

they told me that too, but then i asked for therese (lampert- i think) and she told me they have, and I didnt get it.

I should have done that to begin with. Therese is super helpful. I don't feel like bugging them again, plus the odds of me getting one of the schollies is like .1%
