When did you apply? All but one person in this wave applied last year and have above 75th LSATs.

I think they've come out in waves in years past though.

Full-tuition scholarship! Wow, I am really surprised and grateful for this, I had thought BC had a reputation for being a bit stricter with scholarships

If the people with high scholarship amounts choose a different school and withdraw, is there a possibility of that money being redistributed to other recipients? Asking for a friend.

Damn congrats! I seem to recall the admissions people telling me they don't do full tuition scholarships so you must have crushed the application!

Looks like they gave out 12 full rides last year. Still super impressive though!

I don't know the answer to this, but I also applied to the public service scholarship, am above both 75ths, and didn't get any scholarship info. So. Maybe?

Not sure about BC specifically but this has been the case with other schools. However. You'd probably have to wait until after the first seat deposit deadline for it to matter.

Ok same- that kind of sucks if they do it that way, because then if you interview and don't end up getting the public service scholarship your like at the back of the line for money?

Yeah, I definitely had the same thought and am regretting my mad dash to apply to every PI scholarship everywhere...ah well. What's another couple of months of waiting? :?

Also applied for PI. The silence is starting to make a little more sense

:/ well most schools I think offer you a scholarship (if they were going to give you one) while they go through the PI app process and then you just would not get the original offer if you ended up getting PI. This seems a bit out of the norm

Hm. That's a game I don't know if I'm willing to play. I'm going to contact them with my competing offers and see what's happen. BC is my current #1 but I need a little more $ to be comfortable with the amount of loans I'd need to take out to attend. Trying can't hurt though!!

FWIW it looks like BC is being a little more generous with money this year. I'm wondering how that will play out with negotiations.

I thought this too, I saw a lot of 75k last year but seems like more people getting larger amounts this year. I got a 3k bump with my same stats as last year. Hoping this means they will be more willing in negotiations...

I just got the email saying my app is now in review and a decision will be rendered shortly. I submitted almost a month ago. Does this mean that I should be hearing something soon??

Will there be a second wave of scholarship money?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
