Re: Texas C/O 2020 (2016-2017) Applicants
Saw this on the UT Law website:
The second and third year tuition goes down significantly since they are based on 28 hours for attendance.
Anyone have any idea what "significantly" is?

This shows the current year's tuition and the difference for in-state between 1L and 2L/3L is about $1500. I wouldn't necessarily call that "significantly".
I didn't look for the tuition numbers from the year before, but I would think it went up more than that, meaning you wouldn't pay less for 2L/3L, just not as much more as you might normally assume.

Lol so like a 5% change. Texas and I have different definitions of "significant."ray.bee wrote:https://law.utexas.edu/admissions/tuiti ... -expenses/journalisttolaw wrote:Saw this on the UT Law website:

That sounds pretty conclusive to me... Congratulations!!!finaciardi wrote:Just got the "Information for Admitted Students" email and my status checker now says that "Admission was granted on February 7, 2017."arthrod wrote:Same to me!finaciardi wrote:Did everyone get the email about Justice Center Scholarships and the Texas Law Class of 2020 Admitted Students Facebook page?
I haven't received my decision yet but received both emails, respectively yesterday and today. Wondering if it's a mistake or if it's been sent out to everyone...
I assume this means I'm in?! No idea why I have yet to receive an official admission email, makes me hesitant to be happy lol.
But I'm an international student so perhaps they sent the admission letter by mail in lieu of a phone call...If anybody's had the same experience and wouldn't mind sharing some insight, it'd be much appreciated.
For other OOSers that might be interested, I submitted my apps early November, was asked for Why Texas early December, submitted one accordingly, then was invited to do a Kira interview late-January. Assuming I am admitted, I was admitted 2 days after I completed the Kira interview.

Could one of the admitted students tell me when and how much both seat deposits are? That would be extremely helpful!
