lolol i'd be so fucked at my confirmation hearing
I think we all are--the curse of being the first generation where every dipshit thing you ever did is documented online. If there's ever a confirmation hearing required for a job, imma nope right outta that mess.
Yeah, hoping that we will soon get to the point where
everyone is fucked (seems likely), that becomes the new normal, and thus no one is fucked. Sooner than later, pls!
Pretzel, what are your numbers?
Did you apply to Duke?

Just got a missed call from Chris Colby. I'm assuming I was accepted? Or would they call to reject me...

Just see that they changed my status to under review as well. I have a 167/3.95 URM non-AA, should I have written a "why uva?" I doubt my numbers are high enough that they would consider YP, for all they know this may be the best school I can get into right?

Is it true that UVA requires interviews for all applicants who are being (seriously) considered for admissions?

I think most people do Skype. Mine was done Skype, but I was told if that wasn't possible a phone call could be substituted.
Thanks all!

Bump. Nobody else get this?
I got one of these, but mine was worded "for recently admitted students in your area". Make of that what you will, I guess, but it seems like a good sign!

Whether I'm admitted or not, I got a fee waiver, and a free dinner so my total costs are close to $0 plus some stress. Mine is tomorrow night, I will post details either tomorrow or Friday for anybody curious.

Dillard Scholarships
Established in 1984, the Dillard Scholarships are the Law School's premier full scholarship awards. Each endowment gift of $750,000 carries the name of the donor, in association with that of Hardy Cross Dillard ’27, the fifth dean of the Law School. Dillard Scholarships enable Virginia to attract exceptional students who could attend any law school in the country. Dillard Scholarships are used to identify students whose remarkable abilities, demonstrated commitments, and varied backgrounds suggest the potential for extraordinary leadership, in the Law School community and beyond.

I believe it is set at a full tuition scholarship. From UVA:
