Submitted my app on Friday and just peeked at status checker to see my app's UR. Is that abnormally fast or is that normal?

I went UR rather quickly but not that quickly. So you definitely got a fast UR. I got a decision last week...so a total turnaround of I think eight weeks. Anyway, NYU does state they try to be quick.

Hm, I guess I'll just have to see how long it takes. Trying to decide if it's a good sign or no sign at all that I had such a fast turnaround lol

LSAT >> 75, GPA just barely under 25th.

The fast turnaround kinda freaked me out

Ahh gotcha. Yeah my main concern was that I'm still missing my 3rd LOR and I didn't expect them to actually be looking at my app two days after I submitted it.

Honest to God, I feel like there's just no rhyme or reason. I'm sure the adcoms/assistants work at a distinct pace and some are getting through some apps more quickly than others?

a note on the whole UR thing, I have an *unsupported* theory that people go UR for the most trivial of reasons. lIke maybe your reviewer prints most of your file (causing you to go UR2, for example) and then they decide they need to re-print or print an element of your application that they forgot to print - requiring that they open your file and push you into UR3, hypothetically speaking.

Maybe I'm totally off base and they manually update UR dates to indicate something - I just don't know.

Still UR1 since the end of Sept. GPA just below median and LSAT at 75 - not sure whether to be worried....
