Well, if you got waitlisted (rather than denied outright) it means there is something about you that they liked. I'm not sure your chances off the waitlist (have you checked out mylsn.info?) but it's good to show continued interest with letters. There is a time right around when the first deposit deadline happens where the school will already have their medians in place and they will likely have room to let in a few students they like pretty much regardless of the LSAT/GPA hard factors.sam509 wrote:I applied on January 4, 2016, got waitlisted on January 28, 2016. I've sent two LOCI. LSAT: 150, GPA: 3.4. I go to an Ivy League. Does anyone know my chances of getting in? I know my numbers aren't amazing, but I come from a unique/disadvantaged background (which I wrote about in a diversity statement). I'm just frustrated because I hate waiting and I don't know what else I can do... Sorry if this doesn't follow the flow of the thread, this is my first post on this website.
Of course, you also have to consider that these students never got much scholarship money so I would still recommend considering sitting out and retaking the LSAT.
