I'm in a very similar situation, minus the cake. It must be difficult not to let that cake influence one's decision-making.

jelly of you both! Even if it's not your first choice, a full ride must feel amazing to have as a fallback option

I had my interview last monday and haven't heard back, but I have had my date change twice since then and I am starting to get nervous I bombed the interview

Had my interview 11/18 and haven't heard anything back... It seemed to go very well and she said I would hear back "in the next couple days." Should this be concerning?

It's a little unusual that you wouldn't have heard back, but in my experience, they only provide you with a time frame for a decision in your interview if you're in.

Both those things happened last cycle. Haven't heard of it this cycle yet but I'm sure it could happen.
