Just finished JS1! The interview went exactly 15 minutes and it was pretty chill -- I didn't get the sense he was trying to trip me up or anything.

He said I wouldn't hear anything until after New Years. This site tells me otherwise. Thoughts?

25 left! But I can't tell if each time slot has only one interview available, or if multiple interviewers are working concurrently.
thank you!

Definitely not a good sign. Not saying it's a bad sign, but definitely not good.

Yup. Being JS1-snubbed is becoming a regular Tuesday fixture for me. Sorry to hear that you heard nothing either :/

My interviewer said, "Don't be too worried even if you don't hear back for a month or two."

I also had a fairly chill and friendly interview. The interviewer spent about half the time recommending great programmes at Harvard Law that would suit my interests, instead of asking me questions, which I guess was encouraging. Most of the questions were points of curiosity he had about my resume (publication, work experience, etc..) as well as some topics that emerged from the resume questions.

Just came down off the post-JS1 adrenaline rush. I echo what previous posters said about the interview being pretty chill. They have definitely looked over your resume/PS before the interview. First questions were about specific resume points (graduating UG in 3 years, work experience, etc.) then asked about things I'm interested in at HLS ("what are some activities that you see yourself participating in at HLS?") and more generally in the legal field. Then most of it was him describing aspects of HLS that fit my interests, which I actually found really helpful and very interesting to talk about. Finally he asked if I had questions and I asked a few.

Overall great experience, he never said anything even tangentially related to a timeframe in which I might hear back from them. Other interviewees, did you ask about when you would hear back or did the interviewer bring it up of their own accord?

Yeah I had basically the same experience as a previous poster, during wrap up my interviewer mentioned that they didn't expect decisions until the beginning of next year.

This suggests they may be planning on comparing early applicants to the rest of this year's pool more than to last year's, which is not surprising given the uptick in LSAT takers this year...seems like at least slightly bad news for everyone, because likely admits will wait longer, and people on the bubble might be slightly less likely to be admitted (especially given anecdotal evidence of lots of 175+ scorers on the October test).

Womp.
