Don't say you forgot to attach it, you'll come across as forgetful, flippant, or something else. If you are going to send it in before getting a decision, I'd wait at least a few weeks (of course, you don't know when they'll make their decision). Personally, I'd see how everything unfolds and send it in the event you're waitlisted.

Does UVA's "review pending" mean the same thing as Duke's "ready for review?"

"Review pending" just sounds like it has more urgency to it. I'm grasping at straws, aren't I?

I figured. :(

Pending sounds like OMG! YOU'RE NEXT!!!
"Ready for review" sounds like it's lying in pile somewhere.

At some of the apartment complexes I looked at, my rent with a roommate would be more than cut in half and all the utilities are included which cuts it down even more.
Where are you looking, just out of curiosity?

Edit: You don't want to live at Eagle's Landing if that's what you're looking at.

Ivy is so cheap and so close to the law school grounds...plus that will probably be the pre-game/post-game spot for 1L anyways.

Yep. I've heard Ivy is the social place to be (which I'm about). After commuting 2+ hours daily for the past couple years, I'm excited to be a 5 minute walk from school.

I'll probably scoop a 2brdm with patio, den, and fireplace (east) if I end up there. I have no qualms about being the go-to pre-game/post-game spot.

Eagle's Landing doesn't ring a bell though.
Took a look at Ivy after seeing the other posts and the fact that you can get a two bedroom apartment with a patio and fireplace for ~$1100 is insane to me.
NYC COL has broken me.
Yeah, I'd stick with stuff around North Grounds/Arlington as it will be the most convenient

I get teary-eyed when I think of what my Aunt and Uncle have to pay in property taxes for their place in the UES.

I'm trying not to get too into Type-A Planning mode before I get all my decisions back, but I'm bored at work and it occupies my time.
Oh yeah, no worries, we're so far out from having to make a decision it isn't funny

I'm actually glad it works out this way. We have great options in our back pocket and we have something to look forward to over the next few months.
