Any movement today? I have a feeling that they are waiting until after seat deposits are due to see who might also get in.

This could be based simply off gut feeling, but I feel like they still have many more acceptances to hand out. They accepted a total of 863 last year, I doubt that mark has been reached yet. Sources below

I hope you are right, though according to Law School Numbers, they have sent out 897 offers this year. I would take that information with a grain of salt, I doubt Florida would tell them the exact numbers and no way does every person applying or accepted use that site as a benchmark. Definitely agree with you! Also, seat deposits aren't due until May 15 according to the UF Law website. It used to be around April 15 last year and I'm not sure about the years before that. I'm seeing this trend with many schools. Seems to me that they aren't getting as many applicants and numbers that they normally are used to. It has been reported that Law School admissions are down significantly since 2004.amped323 wrote:This could be based simply off gut feeling, but I feel like they still have many more acceptances to hand out. The April 15th deadline is still in place for those offered aid packages... There should be a lot of movement after Wednesday, IMO.florida2015 wrote:Definitely agree with you! Thats where I am at, but I also tend to prepare for the worst, and hope for the best.amped323 wrote:another part of me also wonders if all of us that havent heard anything back yet are getting thrown on the waitlist or getting denied. and uf's just taking their time doing so.

I agree. I am pretty much planning on a denial but hoping for at least a waitlist. I am taking the LSAT again in June so at least a waitlist would mean I still have a chance. I wish they would just tell us and get it over with though!amped323 wrote:another part of me also wonders if all of us that havent heard anything back yet are getting thrown on the waitlist or getting denied. and uf's just taking their time doing so.

I feel the same way. I'm expecting a denial but I'm keeping up the hope for anything but.amped323 wrote:another part of me also wonders if all of us that havent heard anything back yet are getting thrown on the waitlist or getting denied. and uf's just taking their time doing so.

I've been checking my status and it still hasn't changed from Comp. Review since 3/15.
I really hope they still have acceptances to hand out. The wait is driving me insane. Please tell me if I'm in or not already!!

If that is the deadline, it would make more sense if there is movement Thursday after people withdraw by default.

Whats everyone's stats....for those of you who are still waiting to hear from UF? I remember looking at LSAC...and they had a Stats table/chart with gpa/lsat and showed how many applied and how many got in. It's going to be a long shot..but still hoping for the best!

Just to provide some insight, a friend of mine was accepted on 4/8 with a 3.47 and a 155. She had good softs too.
