I applied on the 3rd and still haven't gotten my status checker, anyone else in the same boat? I'm sure they're just slammed right now though...

I submitted the third! I had everything ready to go once I got my score. It was a long wait lol.

They're interested, but unsure what to do with you. If you don't convince them you want to be at UT with the Why Texas, they'll YP your butt into the ding pile. If you have a compelling reason they'll admit. Of course, it's UT admissions, so even after you write it they could surprise you.

Rejected with 171/3.82. They did ask me to write a Why UT essay but I chose not to because I had already gotten into some good ones and I couldn't think of legitimate reasons since I have nothing to do with Texas.
