Have slim hopes for this one, esp. since they're so GPA-heavy, but one can hope

Are they GPA heavy? If they are then there's more hope for a lot of us
Anyone know how much consideration they take for softs and work experience for K-JD applicants?
Stanford's one of the most GPA-heavy schools at the top. Don't expect a seismic difference though
I'm K-JD and am convinced that I was admitted to S because of some sweet, sweet, pillowy softs...

I sew pillows, am the captain of a soft-ball league, and invented soft-serve ice-cream.
But really, PM if you're curious, not gonna discuss specifics on a thread.

I have given up on expecting acceptance calls anytime soon, which has allowed me to study for my finals tomorrow. Thank you Stanford!

So we only have a few hours until my Tuesday/Wednesday prediction is put to rest. Does anyone think that the early admits were just an anomaly and the rest of us are still going to have to wait until January?

I've been locked out of the status checker since I got the status checker. Welcome to my personal hell.

Doesn't work through the link either. And I don't want to contact the admissions office and tell them all about my first world problems.

To be fair, Stanford has one of the least interesting status checkers. You're not missing much. (I check it way less frequently than any others, since my understanding is that it won't do anything, even after a decision is made.)

It's been two weeks since they've admitted the first round of people. At this rate, who knows when they'll admit more.

True. It was very anticlimactic to actually open the link.

Anyone know if the status checker is down? It keeps saying invalid username or password, but I'm definitely entering it correctly. Maybe they're entering updates?
Also, can someone please tell me what c/o means?

Try entering through the e-mail you were sent.
c/o = class of (edit: in this context; IRL it means "care of")

My understanding is that you have to click the email with the link you were sent for it to work....I could be wrong

So, per Spivey the c/o of 2016 numbers are set at 169-171-173 and 3.77/3.87/3.95.

Keeping this on the first page with optimism that more acceptances will come this week.

I hope that happens but I think they are going to come next week along with the first round from Yale.

This wait is frustrating. When I wasn't expecting decisions until January I was fine, but then she made that first round of calls.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
