I don't think you need to worry just yet, I was accepted on 12/17 but didn't receive my award email until 1/24. That's more than a month, and you've only been waiting 19 days.

Good luck!

Has anyone ever visited the school? Now that I've gotten in, I'm fairly certain that this is going to be where I end up, and although I've been to DC before, I've never visited.

Interview yesterday, seemed to go well. Interviewer also studied military history so we ended up talking about that for a while. Firm in NYC that worked with hedge funds...give me your job sir.

The campus is in the city so it's not really a campus so much as a collection of buildings in Foggy Bottom. The area is pretty pricey to live but you might find a deal.

ED deadline is coming……why seems no one gets in yet……
I applied ED and was accepted as RD about a week ago, a few other people applied ED and were accepted as RD as well (so basically accepted but didn't get the full tuition scholarship that comes with ED acceptance)
It seems no one is accepted as ED till now……
I am a EDer and haven't got their decision yet. TT
Today is their ED decision deadline and I am waiting……desperately……

No. If you get accepted ED, you get the scholarship. If you are not accepted ED, but then rolled into the regular applicant pool and accepted, you will not get the ED scholarship but will not be bound to attend.

Waitlisted.

3.6/164. Frankly, my softs must have helped as my numbers are pretty low on the spectrum. Looking forward to a tour in a week or two and sending a LOCI at the end of February.

Agreed. Are you EDer? I am waitlisted so it is no more binding right?

I'm RD, so I can't comment, but I would presume that it's not binding. Wow, I'm really very surprised given my numbers. What are yours, if I may ask?

The only time you are bound to go is if you are accepted under your ED contract, then you get the full scholarship and are contractually bound to attend in the fall and not attend anywhere else. That is the only situation in which you are bound to go. So no, if you were waitlisted, no.

Wow, thank you so much for the explanation. Are you a EDer?

Jeez I'm not so chipper about being waitlisted anymore. It seems like it's a LONG list judging from today's ED updates :(

Hey, I have a 168/3.53 and I sent my application around the 17th of January. I saw that a lot of people had pretty quick turn arounds as far as acceptances already. Can anyone with similar numbers give me a hint as far as how long it took them to get a rejection/acceptance? Also, is there a status checker? I clicked the link they emailed me and it took me to a broken link. Thanks

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
