Just sent an email requesting a fee waiver. I was going to call the admissions office but I am at my internship and it is a little to hectic to make calls right now. I'll probably wait a few days and then just apply regardless.

Did you do an interview? I got an unsolicited fee waiver email the day after I interviewed.

No I did not. Vandy wasnt on my radar until recently. I wish I understood earlier how good a school it was. I believe it is now to late to request an interview.

Like so many others, decision sent: 1/25/13

I'm using today as my last day to dream of a Vandy acceptance, but I'm assuming WL/ding. It seems like they admit a lot early, then send out a tsunami of WLs in late january/February. My interviewer more-or-less confirmed this, he said don't get too upset by a WL, since Vandy tends to send out more than most peer schools. I think this is their way of gaming the USNEWS rankings... Accept everyone they expect to attend, see who matriculates then start pulling up people at median or below/splitters.

High # of applications + low number of acceptances + solid medians = PRESTIGE

Oh well, good luck and black boxes to all.

I used to think that my mail running at noon was a good thing. Until I realized that I basically just get everything the morning after I normally would at my old apartment where the mail ran at 6.

When I moved here, it mysteriously started taking 3. My subscription to the Economist also gets here a day later. I think my logic is sound.

Vanderbilt contacted me after asking for a fee waiver telling me to forward my LSAT score report and Academic Summary report. When they receive those, then they will consider my request. Are they basically asking me to submit my application? How else could I forward those reports?

You can download those as PDFs from LSAC and then email it to them.

Save the pdf documents and email them. Let me know if you need help with it.

Don't lose hope. I got my DLS on 11/30 (a Friday) and my box didn't come until 12/4 (the following Tuesday). IIRC nobody with a DLS of 11/30 got their box on 12/3; everybody received it on 12/4.

If my DLS was 1/24/13 and I don't get it today I should assume I'm not getting in?
