Congrats to the new JS1s. I'm thinking they should be sending out about one new batch a week for the rest of the cycle.
And thanks to everyone posting about their interviews today. Did anyone gets asked why law or why Harvard or was it all about resume and app like hopeful's?

Do they interview the people they like the most first. Like the people with the highest LSATS/GPAS

Re: Harvard c/o 2016 Applicants (2012-2013)
lol it is just an irrational fear, not a theory. I like to think that TLSers (at least for upper echelon schools) represents ~50% of actual applicants. So if 15 people on here have gotten JS1s maybe 30-40 total have gotten the e-mail. Of course I have no data to back this up. Pure speculation.kingsfield69 wrote:Agree, TLS representation is skewed toward the right of the curve, but that's also where Harvard lives. The real number is undoubtedly higher than we can see from here, but probably less variance than you theorize.helix23 wrote:WhiteyCakes wrote:This is unbelievably sage adviceAnonymous4444 wrote:Lets relax guys even if 100 went out (which I don't think there has) there is still 900+ to go. We will get the interviews soon enough. Keep ur chins up
My biggest fear is that TLS represents a negligible amount of applicants and hundreds of JS1s have actually gone out.
A comforting thought, if you buy it. Or, I'm just reassuring myself.

lol. So you want me to go back into last year's thread and count every time someone reported a KB1/JS1?helix23 wrote:Maybe Lavitzcould count how many people got JS1 in last years thread compared to how many acceptances there are on LSN. And then we could deduct that from the actual number of acceptances and matriculants, etc.

Only about 25-30 people have posted js1 on tls so my 100 was taking into account people that don't post.
chill out all they are coming.

I am totally jealous of all of you JS1's!! It's unreasonable with my number to expect a JS1 at all, much less in the first wave... but goddamnit I want it SO bad!!
Congratulations again everyone, and thanks for sharing about it!

Re: Harvard c/o 2016 Applicants (2012-2013)
In all likelihood, I'm an auto-deny. My only hope is that my galactic softs will overcome my non-HLS numbers and the fact I'm starting a second career at 40 years old. All of this means that if I *do* get a JS1, it probably won't be until late spring. Still, I cannot resist echoing your "goddamnit I want it so bad!"tyler.durden wrote:I am totally jealous of all of you JS1's!! Happy for those getting the emails. Also, because it helps advance the process and reduce the wait between now and the arrival of my rejection letter.

Submitted this morning, HUGE reach. Hopefully a December retake will help with that.

Damn those are almost my exact numbers. But there are also better-numbered people still at JS0, so I'll be patient.outlookingin wrote:kcam1991 wrote:OMG Interview email just now

Good luck to all y'all with the interviews. I'd offer some words of advice, but they'd probably be pretty obsolete now that things have moved onto Skype. 20 minutes on Skype is standard now instead of 5 minutes on the phone? Yeesh... they're totally gonna judge your fashion sense too. Maybe next year's incoming class will be more attractive?

Those are almost exactly my numbers too. I went complete on 11/6, though. Good luck guys!banjo wrote:Damn those are almost my exact numbers. But there are also better-numbered people still at JS0, so I'll be patient.outlookingin wrote:kcam1991 wrote:OMG Interview email just now

Re: Harvard c/o 2016 Applicants (2012-2013)
Does anyone know what exactly is in a JS2? Is it just an acceptance over email or is it a phone call or is it an email setting up a phone call? I'm confused.

So basically if you see an incoming call from a 617 area code on your phone, you should start getting excited. Unless a random person in Cambridge happens to call you lolkcam1991 wrote:Acceptance Phone callbernaldiaz wrote:Does anyone know what exactly is in a JS2? Re: Harvard c/o 2016 Applicants (2012-2013)
So, does anyone know the percentage of how many people in the first round of interviews get the pre-Thanksgiving JS2? How many of them end up getting held/waitlisted?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
