From what I understand, they do acceptances via phone, WL/rejects via email

Well, it seems increasingly unlikely that there will be more calls today. I'm happy that decisions are starting to come out, however. I'm too lazy to check, but once they start calling do they pretty much start making calls every day/multiple times a week?

Dunno about the pace they keep once decisions first start coming out, but they're definitely done for the day. It looks like they made a few calls before lunch and then called it quits for the day.

Looking at LSN previous years, it looks like, once they started calling, calls were made almost every day.

I just got in today! I applied ED and went complete on Monday but I was surprised by how quick the reply was. I got an email from Cordel Faulk asking me to call him at 3:30pm and then we had a brief but very nice phone conversation. I'm so excited!

Also, congrats to all the other people who got accepted today! Hopefully I'll see some of you in Cville!

What have other people's experience with regular decision been - as in how long before they start getting back on applications? I'm hoping (perhaps ridiculously) to hear something before Christmas.

Question: I read on another forum that someone was wait listed and then changed to ED from the waitlist? Just curious if that is accurate since I had never heard of that before.
