Congratulations! Great late cycle news. SPWL? I have similar stats as you, so that is interesting.

Yeah, I was on the SPWL. If you haven't sent another LOCI in a while, I would recommend doing that. I think it's what made the difference for me.

Just withdrew from the P-WL, I just signed a lease agreement in NYC and won't be canceling it for DC. Best of luck to those still waiting.

How does need-based work with Gtown? Do they offer significant sums? What do you need to get it (i.e. submit tax forms?) I heard in the past need-based is guaranteed so that if need falls merit takes over. Do they still do that?

Wrong forum. This is the desperately hoping to get in crowd.

Georgetown is STILL accepting applications in spite of it's application "deadline" earlier this year. Sucks for anyone who would have benefited from more time to study for the LSAT, but taking it early so as to meet the application "deadline."

This slightly annoys me. Really happy for you though. Shows they're just number hunting.
So much for this line: "Applicants on the Preferred Waiting List are among those we would like to include in our first year class. These applicants have the strongest credentials of all waiting list candidates and, as a result, receive priority consideration if spaces become available."

well TBF, i wasn't really on the waitlist... haha
I agree though. it sucks how #'s hungry schools have to be. its just how the process has to be handled, and if anything, i have just taken the TLS wisdom to heart through this process. retaking was the best decision i'v ever made.
they did indicate spots had opened up and i really truly wish all of you the best of luck. hope to be your future classmate
