Has anyone completed NeedAccess yet? I am an international student and the tax system, among other things, in China differs a lot from America. For example, we do not know income tax we pay every year because our companies who pay tax for us do not tell us. Also my mother works in a state-owned company and it just does not need to pay certain amount of tax for no reason. I started to fill that out yesterday but found myself lacking most of information needed. Does anybody have an idea what I should do?

I got one from someone who actually went to my undergrad apparently. Coincidence or does NYU purposely pick these out?

The email's pretty formulaic.

Got one from someone who had a variety of interesting work experiences and was originally unsure of moving to NY... Definitely targeted.

Anyone going to the admitted student event in LA with Dean R? I typed the location address into google maps and it appears to be a fancy house in Bel Air. That's intimidating. Maybe it's the home of a successful NYU alum.

NYU doesn't give that info out until early March. People usually send in their negotiation emails shortly afterward.

Unfortunately they give you a very small window to negotiate. They usually ask you to accept/reject their scholarship offer by early April.

Nah. You're going to be in the village, so skinny jeans, a v-neck, and keffiyah should be sufficient.

I'm going business casual (button down shirt no tie). Although skinny jeans are tempting...
