If you intend to practice in LA and are not joining "Big Law" its worth considering, esp for Public Interest... serving the underrepresented, etc

With all due respect those of us who are still waiting for initial decisions would appreciate if you removed yourself from the wait list if you are not intending to go to Loyola. Moreover if anyone else who is not going to go to Loyola could withdraw those of us still waiting would appreciate it. Finally, I called this afternoon and they say they should send out decisions by the end of the month(ish). Good luck all.

Between those choices you've listed and the fact that you want to practice in California, Loyola is the clear choice.

So after submitting in January I got an email today stating that they want to give me some scholly $ but they won't be able to let me know anything about it until after the April 30th seat deposit deadline. They offered to refund my deposit if I choose not to accept whatever they end up giving me.

For those of you still waiting, they made my decision yesterday. I doubt I'll be attending but I am curious to see the amount of $ they will offer.

If your #s are like mine you should have a good chance - give it your best shot.
If you haven't yet, write directly to the admissions/financial aid person/s there.

You are above their 75th percentile for GPA and at their LSAT median. You should surely get some sort of merit scholarship.

I withdrew a bit over a month ago but got a letter yesterday reminding me that my seat deposit was coming up. This may not be a good thing for people waiting to get of the wait list since it doesn't sound like they're updating withdrawals soon enough.

I will however attempt to withdraw once more on Monday.
