honestly I'm really not sure. I only checked it once I think. Despite my other neurotic tendencies, I haven't been infected with the compulsive status checker bug that's apparently rampant amongst TLS users.MiamiOxford wrote:did your status checker date change at all throught the cycle?cubbiesyear wrote:In 11/10/11

I thought that there was NO advantage to going EA..........at least that's what the Dean said in a TLS interview

The advantage is that they consider your application while they have more seats to fill. So if you're borderline it should help.

Congrats !!! However, would you mind providing your stats? I'm also a big splitter, with LSAT above the 75% and GPA below the 25%. Or do you want me to request in a PM? Thanks.

I'm a little late to the party here, but I was admitted last week (11/9). It seems as though a fair number of people were admitted in this thread and on LSN with numbers that were either reserved and/or eventually waitlisted last cycle ... this would seem to bode well for those still awaiting a decision.

I applied on September 15th. Numbers are right around Cornell's medians for last year (168, 3.68).
Good luck to everyone else still waiting! These initial acceptances seem to be uncharacteristically early, so I'm sure there will be plenty of EA admits yet.

Same with me, I assume that an award, if any, will be given with the acceptance package.hangqianli wrote:i was also admitted via email, and it said nothing about scholarship

I believe merit and need-based scholarship evaluations are done after filing your 2011 FAFSA and tax documents. See latter pages of the PDF that was attached in your admittance email.hangqianli wrote:i was also admitted via email, and it said nothing about scholarship
