Definitely better than 50/50, I think. If you do only have a 50/50, than my chances are worse than I thought...
(sigh) I just need to stop thinking about it and over analyzing. Taking a break from TLS wouldn't hurt too, ha.

Taking a break from TLS/Status Checking would make it so much worse...

I almost don't want to know when UW status changes, though, because it will probably take at least a week for the letter to get here and I don't want to dread the mailbox every day for a week.

If you don't know whether or not you've changed to "decision", you'll dread the mailbox for months once you start wondering if it's time for your decision.

Congrats Aggie! Still no DL here on the East Coast. When was your letter post marked? I have a feeling they weren't actually dropped in the mail on 1/25 or it probably would be here by now.

Hi all! Late applicant here for the party. I got my app in on the last day, Jan 15. In review as of yesterday! I've been living in Seattle proper for 3 years and the puget sound for most of my life and my wife is a UW architecture grad, so I can probably answer any questions about the city and campus.

Edit: I have a 169/No GPA and am a nontraditional, out of school since 08.

In review since 1/24, I fear it could be a while before I get my decision...

Any thoughts on my scholarship chances with a 164/3.8 and solid LOR and softs?

Check out 2 pages back. UW doesn't really give scholarships at all

And they don't let you establish residency if you're in Washington for school. Which is a shame, since the in-state tuition's pretty amazing.

Search back through the thread, someone pointed out a link that showed that the in state tuition for grad students can be attained after 1L.

There is a waiver you can apply for after your first year to receive in state tuiion. I'll post the link when I get home.

Yeah, in-state is reasonable and I love Seattle, it'd just be hard to turn down in-state + scholarship at UT for UW without some money, you know?

Yes.. you don't want to go to UW, you want to go to the other school so that there's at least one potential seat open.

Got my acceptance letter today... status checker says 1/25 DLS but letter was post marked 2/1. Don't freak out if you don't get your letter for a few days :-)

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
