Re: Vanderbilt 2011
This might be a couple of stupid questions but:
1. anyone know how many merit scholarships are handed out?
2. anyone know if Mr. Morton might allow for an extension of the submission date that has passed, if presented with valid reasons?
Thanks

Just got my WL letter by mail from Vandy. The decision mailed date was 01/12.

Honestly, not too bummed about this.

Hi all, been lurking on here a while and wanted to join in the fun. I'm one of the lucky ones with a 'Decision Mailed' date of 1/12, so I'm guessing I'm headed for WL-ville. A little disappointing since my app only went complete on 12/29 (mailed 12/21)
I'm in Japan so I expect my letter won't get here for a while. Happy waiting with the rest of you in the meantime~

Although, I am not really expecting to get in. I didnt interview and I have an atrocious GPA (on NU's level). But, it would be nice to have a southern option. Everything I have read/heard about Nashville/Vandy has been positive. I could definitely see myself spending 3 years there.

169, 4.0 = WL'd...smart move Vanderbilt. It'd take more than a full-ride to get me to go to Tennessee!

I think you only need to fill out FAFSA and Need Access.FiveSermon wrote:Do I need to fill out some other form other than the primary application for need based aid?

You only fill out the FAFSA/ need based forms once you've been accepted. Does this answer your question?FiveSermon wrote:Is Vandy the exception in doing this?iwanta170 wrote:http://law.vanderbilt.edu/prospective-s ... index.aspx

I'm guessing that if FedEx has no information on a package to be delivered to my address then it means I'm getting a small envelope through usps and that I'm waitlisted?

I'd wait until you actually get something to make that assumption. You likely won't receive anything today. Nothing is certain until the decision is in your hand.modmx wrote:I'm guessing that if FedEx has no information on a package to be delivered to my address then it means I'm getting a small envelope through usps and that I'm waitlisted?

Re: Vanderbilt 2011
When I was accepted last month, FedEx told me there was no information on file for my address. I received a package the same day nonetheless, so don't make any assumptions just yet.modmx wrote:I'm guessing that if FedEx has no information on a package to be delivered to my address then it means I'm getting a small envelope through usps and that I'm waitlisted?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
