Ha, not even. I simply wanted to know what the intellectual atmosphere is at Pitt.

I think we all understand that not every school has people who are at the same academic level.

If that makes me a douche, then so be it.

In all seriousness, I'd say the majority of people at the school are very intelligent, but don't go in expecting a bunch of Yalies.

Thanks. Are you happy with your decision to attend? Do you have much debt? Are you a minority?

I'm very happy with my decision to attend. I love Pittsburgh and I love the school. I don't have any debt from undergrad, and if I keep my scholarship, I should graduate with less than $60,000 of debt. I'm almost as white as Bedsole, so no, I'm not a minority.

Just got my letter in the mail and looks like there will be zero financial aid coming my way. Not surprising with a 158 but I was hoping for just a little.

Talk to Meme Jeffries. Many people aren't offered financial aid at first. I had to negotiate for my scholarship.

I live on the other side of town (North Side), it's quiet and we were able to buy a great condo. Also, I'm only a five minute drive from Heinz Field and Downtown.

Hey are there still people out there who are under review as of 12/08.

I'm at the 75th percentile for both gpa and lsat but I'm getting a little nervous that all these people are being accepted and I haven't heard anything yet.

Seconded - status checker hasn't changed from "application received" since 12/14.

3.85. I was hoping that would help me out money wise.

Yes it is. I love the city and would love to attend but it's highly unlikely I'll go without some help.

I'm at the same spot, and not at all worried.

I went in review 12/08 and found out via status checker today that I got in! Pitt apparently does not send out emails regarding acceptances. Anyway, I'm thrilled I got in and with a nice $$$ offer, I would love to attend.

I got an acceptance email... it's just that it came much later than the traditional mail notification.
