Caddyshack was one of the movies I always had with me during the season. There was about a 75% chance the TV in our hotel room wouldn't work so I watched that movie all the time.

I caddied for 7 summers so it was basically my Bible. And pretty much everything in that movie happened in my life, minus the exploding golf course.H. E. I think caddying would have been a great experience. I wish I had done it when I was younger. I unpacked my clubs last weekend and started cleaning them up cause the weather has been so nice up here I'm very excited to start playing again.rockthelaw wrote:I caddied for 7 summers so it was basically my Bible. Are we talking like general harrassment like rolling in there with a chalk board and dragging your nails across it or like personal and calling them ugly?sibley wrote:I have begun harrassing multiple people in admissions. Will let you know if they cave.

So good - right? There's this hipster place around the corner from my apt that sells "ape cakes" - chocolate chip pancakes with peanut butter chips and banana slices in it. Holy crap you'll think you died.nygrrrl wrote:NOMNOMNOMeven2flow wrote:Are we talking like general harrassment like rolling in there with a chalk board and dragging your nails across it or like personal and calling them ugly?sibley wrote:I have begun harrassing multiple people in admissions. I really should have met with them Monday. My boyfriend was bugging me about not, but they had a HUGE pile of papers on their desks (our files, probably... couldn't get a close look without being too sketch). I told him they were anonymous anyway. But now I think I should have. He's much better at that kind of thing than I am, though. Has no doubts. I saw a large group of people meeting in a fishbowl room of the res hall... but some of them seemed too young to be on an adcomm.
e2f, just poking them a bunch til they talk.
I want ape cakes.

You'd be surprised how young some admissions staff is. My interviewer at Northwestern had just graduated law school and was an admissions associate or something.sibley wrote: I saw a large group of people meeting in a fishbowl room of the res hall... but some of them seemed too young to be on an adcomm.

I could be wrong about this, but I think they have current law students (3Ls I think typically) on adcomms too. At least that's what I think I heard about BC and that it was a moderately standard practice?sibley wrote:but some of them seemed too young to be on an adcomm.

Available at over 20 locations, Crumb's Bakery has created the ultimate cupcake and named it the Baba Booey. This delicious creation is a chocolate cupcake with a peanut butter filling. Topped off with a peanut butter / chocolate icing and mini peanut butter chips, the Baba Booey leaves all other cupcakes behind when it comes to taste and qualitysibley wrote:I had something filled with peanut butter once. I think they don't have peanut butter at pinkberry because it'd screw up their calorie scale.
I wish someone would invent low fat peanut butter that actually tasted like regular peanut butter. I'm sure it can be done. And it'd probably be a more effective thing than putting an %18 tax on pizza and soda to make the country lose 5lbs. think of all those schoolchildren!

All natural peanut butter is not bad for you, has less hydrogenated oils and way less sugar. Plus - bonus: it tastes delicious.sibley wrote:I think they don't have peanut butter at pinkberry because it'd screw up their calorie scale.

All this talk means I have to go get ice cream after dinner tonight. So much for that 'diet.'
Edit - the fat in the natural stuff is the 'good' fat

I fully support Mayor Bloomberg's food taxes.

Although I usually refer to it as "Whole Paycheck" and try to steer clear, I have become addicted to Whole Foods' grind-it-yourself peanut butter. I eat it with a spoon.even2flow wrote:All natural peanut butter is not bad for you, has less hydrogenated oils and way less sugar. Plus - bonus: it tastes delicious.

1) all natural is still very fatty! though the omega 3s are good, yes?nygrrrl wrote:Although I usually refer to it as "Whole Paycheck" and try to steer clear, I have become addicted to Whole Foods' grind-it-yourself peanut butter. 2) I went to the whole foods near fordham (which I now refer to in my head as 'school,' by the way) and it was too busy for me. maybe if I got away from the main area and the foodstands it would be less so, though.
